Commissions vs Requests (Open and Closed)
I'm not sure why this is such a gray area to understand so I'll just put it in black and white for everyone to see. When asking someone do they do REQUESTS you are implying that they do their work for free, meaning no monetary gain whatsoever and they are doing it out of the kindness of their heart. When you ask someone do they do COMMISSIONS you are implying you are wanting to pay for their services and agree it's a transaction and not a gift. Now that we have that out of the way let's get down to the nitty gritty, I DO NOT ACCEPT REQUESTS. The only people who could get a request from me know who they are and will be kept anonymous. I DO ACCEPT COMMISSIONS for the time being at least. I'm not sure how long I'll do commissions as I'm not sure as to my stance on commissions for this type of writing. Patreon DOES NOT count as commission. It counts as an exclusive perk that you can redeem up to the specified times per month depending on your tier. Commissions work differently. So with
